Some people after submitting their blog to google forget to submit the blog to Yahoo they don't think that it plays significant role in increasing the blog traffic.
How to Submit your Blogger blog to Yahoo detailed tutorial:-
- Go to Yahoo site Explorer here and login from your Yahoo user-id.
- Enter your blog url (Address) in column 1 and then click "Add My Site".
- Now Go to your Blogger Dashboard.
- Go to Design / Edit HTML.
- Download Full Template for safety.
- Check "Expand widget Template".
- Paste the copied text from Yahoo after and before the section.
- Save Template.
- Open Yahoo site explorer page.
- And click "Ready to Authenticate".
Your blog has been submitted to Yahoo search Engine.
For submitting a sitemap:-
- Go to your Yahoo Site explorer Dashboard.
- Click on the site you have added.
- Click the "Feed" on the left side.
- Write rss.xml in the space provided and then click "Add feed".
- After that Write atom.xml in the space provided and then click "Add feed".
Enjoy!! your Sitemap also submitted. It will take 1-2 days to Authenticate your blog.
